About JMG TechnologyJMG Technology started as a part time operation back in July 2005. Initially the business structure was that of a sole trader (run by Jason Gorham). In 2009, JMG Technology converted to a private company and full time operations. We currently run the business from a home office located in Newcastle.
One of the main reasons JMG Technology was started was due to an interest in the newly emerging VoIP technology and spreading the word of the money that could be saved by using it. After purchasing a Linksys PAP2 back in early 2005 and helping many friends and family with their VoIP setups, Jason decided to start the business.
One of the first things that JMG Technology did was to create the hugely popular Sipura SPA3000 Simplified Guide. This guide helped propel JMG Technology into the VoIP world and we have been selling VoIP equipment ever since.
In early 2009, JMG Technology formed relationships with some of the top ISPs in the country (Westnet, Internode, iiNet, TPG, Exetel and Netspace), to provide discounted hardware for customers signing up to these providers. We also provide setup assistance and advice on which ISP is right for your needs.
